The Idolatry Project
Contribute Below
The creation of the first three parts of the Idolatry saga has required a great deal of research, creativity, effort, and expense—over twenty years’ worth, so far. The completion of the story, with the publication of Parts IV & V, will require more of all. Given the nature of the story’s subject matter, we can’t anticipate a contract with a traditional publisher anytime soon, but in the meantime, we’ll continue self-publishing, taking on the additional expenses of editing, promotion, audiobook production, and marketing. Our goal is to introduce the Idolatry story to the widest audience possible, as we think it deserves.
If you’ve enjoyed the Idolatry story so far, and if you’d like to see the story completed sooner rather than later, please consider supporting the project by making a donation or becoming a patron. A one-time donation or monthly contribution, no matter how large or small, will help make the completion of Idolatry a reality. Your art purchases from Quent Cordair Fine Art very much help support the effort as well, as do your reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, and your recommendations on Facebook, X, and other social media.
We’re happy to ship signed copies of the books, individually or as a set, as gifts for friends and family.

We’ll reach the finish line one way or another, but with your help, we can get there sooner. Some treasures, we believe, are worth seeking until found, pursuing until possessed. We hope you’ll join us in our quest. We very much look forward to sharing the treasures yet to be found in the Idolatry story with you.
Thank you from our depths for your support.

What People are saying
"Beautifully written, on the order of Ken Follett's Pillars of the Earth, with the historical insight of James Michener, it brings to life a time of great thought, great art, and its clash with religious fanaticism. Cordair writes with a poet's sense of scene and nuance and gives us a great deal of insight into the mind of a sculptor...." - Alan Nitikman
“The ancient conflict between religion and men who value their lives on this earth resumes in the modern age. Please keep writing - I need to know where this leads.” - Amazon Customer
"Why does a boy wearing a man's wristwatch too large for his arm patiently wait one evening to light an oil lamp in the steeple of a cathedral? Why does a beautiful young woman sing a sweet lullaby in the middle of the afternoon to a man she hardly knows? What happens in a present-day bar in a Nevada town on a sunny Saturday that causes all the customers to stare at a man who smells of leather and prairie grass after a thunderstorm—something that causes one woman in particular to temporarily feel as if the world had gone away? Find the answers—and captivating reading—in Quent Cordair's A New Eden. Engrossing!" ~ Bruce Van Horne
“The plot is intriguing. The characters are fascinating. The book leaves you hungry for more. (It's a good thing it's a saga with more parts to come!) One aspect I enjoy from all of Mr. Cordair's work (his short stories & novels); his heroes are from different age groups; children, teenagers, twenty somethings, middle age and the elderly.” - Amazon Customer
