Danielle Richard

Danielle Richard sees her work as a testament to a quest for beauty, and beauty is, in a way, its guiding thread. She also believes her work echoes moments of silence and peace, inspired by life far from the tumult.

“I often paint the ‘eternal feminine,’ the one I know especially from the inside, the one that proves the best medium for the emotions that I prefer,” Richard said.

Richard’s mediums are pastel, acrylic and oil, and her approach is part of a movement called "realistic,” whose language is optimistic, poetic and timeless.
