Ayn Rand Bust Sculpture
Click on image for additional views
From the artist:
The sculpture is green-blue (favorite color of Ayn Rand) - with iridescent blue accents that I apply to each sculpture.
The hair suggests a smooth helmet, a description she used in her writing and one I think she might have liked to describe to her own stylish haircut.
I sculpted a skyline into her eyes, meant to be a reflection of the city she loved.
Artist: Michael Wilkinson
9.25” tall
Offered in cast bronze and resin
Bluer version is cast bronze. Greener version is cast in resin.
Resin- limited edition of 50
Bronze - limited-edition of 10
“I would give the greatest sunset in the world for one sight of New York's skyline. Particularly when one can't see the details. Just the shapes. The shapes and the thought that made them. The sky over New York and the will of man made visible.” - Ayn Rand
