Isolation depicts a lone woman walking away from the viewer, down a long hallway in the French palace of Versailles. As I photographed the vast hallways of Versailles, I was struck by how empty it seemed, despite the opulence. The massive archways overwhelm the solitary woman, yet she still dominates the images with her dignity and poise.
