The central element to this piece is the crystal orb encompassing a droplet of blood, symbolizing time, the building block of life. She trades her time for something unnamed out of fear of loss, which leads her off the path into a place without footing or foundation. This lack of regard for her time spent takes her to an unforeseen and careless destination, which is often the result when we act in fear and not in love.
